User Guide

For hygiene and safety, your mask should arrive sealed in plastic wrap.

Intended Use

This mask provides adjustable heat therapy to:

  • Support the release of oils from the Meibomian glands in your eyelids

  • Help maintain a healthy tear film

  • Relieve symptoms of dry, irritated, or screen-strained eyes


Important Safety Information

  • Use heat levels that feel soothing and comfortable.

  • If the mask feels too hot, reduce the setting immediately.

  • Do not bend the mask in half, as this may damage the heating element.


Directions for Use

  1. Plug the cable into the included wall adapter.

  2. Insert the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

  3. Ensure the wire is on your right side when wearing the mask.

  4. Press the POWER button on the controller.

  5. The display will show the current heat level and countdown timer.


Using the Controls

  • Heat Level (1–10): Start at a lower setting and increase gradually.

  • Timer: Doctors recommend 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening.


Placement

  • Place the mask over your eyes and adjust the strap for a secure fit.

  • Tip: For moist heat, lightly spray the mask cover with water before use.


Optional Beep Feature

You can enable or disable the end-of-cycle beep:

  • Enable Beep:

    • Turn on the mask.

    • Press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds.

    • A sound icon will appear.

  • Disable Beep:

    • Turn on the mask.

    • Press and hold the POWER button again for 5 seconds.

    • The sound icon will disappear.


Expressing the Oils (Oil Secretion)

After using the mask, it’s recommended to express the oils from your eyelids.
These natural oils flow into your eyes each time you blink.

Methods:

  • Method 1: Finger Sweep

    • Gently sweep your upper eyelid downward toward the lashes for 5 seconds.

    • Sweep your lower eyelid upward toward the lashes for 5 seconds.

  • Method 2: Video Tutorial

    • Visit www.EyeMask.com and click the Video tab.

Proper Eyelid Hygiene

After use, wash your eyelids to reduce bacteria:

  • Gently clean each eyelid with soap and water for one minute per eye.

  • You may also use eyelid towelettes such as Optase®, OCuSOFT®, or similar.

Protective Cover Usage & Care

  • Use the included protective cover to help keep the mask clean.

  • To clean the cover:

    • Hand wash with mild soap and water.

    • Air dry completely.

  • To clean the mask:

    • Wipe with a damp cloth.

    • Do not submerge the mask in water.

Storage

The storage box has a notch on the right side to accommodate the cord.
You can store the mask neatly while keeping it plugged in.

  • Always use the included UL-approved USB wall plug.

  • Only use replacement plugs rated 5V / 2A (10W).

Contraindications

Do not use this mask:

  • For at least 14 days after any eye surgery, or

  • As otherwise directed by your physician.


Precautions

  • Never submerge the mask in water.

  • If submerged accidentally:

    • Unplug immediately.

    • Allow to dry fully before reuse.


Safety Warning: Strangulation Hazard

This mask includes an attached wire.
Ensure the wire does not become tangled or wrap around the neck during use.


Additional Safety Information

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • If damaged or malfunctioning, discontinue use and discard safely.


Water Resistance

  • IP22 Rated: Resistant to light water spray.

  • Do not submerge.
